To support policies on design and innovation by providing a platform for creative design development, promotion and partnership across many sectors, region, states and to stand out in the international arena.

To achieve UiTM’s mission as Innovative Entrepreneurial research University by developing leading edge designs to enhance the integration of technology, management, creativity and design through fundamental / applied design research and applications and to commercialize the product.

To render and consultancy services on design to industries, ministries, state government and other organizations.

To encourage research in all aspects of design and to publish findings both the academic and business publications.

To promote value of design through, conferences, workshop seminars and lecture series.

To document the role of design in the planning of quality living.

To produce a definition of good design practice.

To actively organize design competitions, international conferences and lecture series on contemporary issues.

To produce a set of published and guidelines, tools and techniques for companies to use in design and planning.
